Light Khao Lak Resort

The room we stayed in was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very modern and pretty. The balcony space was lovely and as a couple who are travelling on a budget, it was a really lovely space to sit and relax on an evening with takeout! The pool was amazing with plenty of beds around it. The pool was deep enough for us to swim in and the hotel even had swimming goggles for us to borrow! They had free coffee and bread in the morning! You’re right next to Bang Niang Market (a must visit), the beach and a big string of restaurants. However you’re not too near that it’s loud in the evening, literally is the perfect location! We had a slight problem with our room when we first got there, but the staff fixed it and were super helpful! The two young receptionists were so friendly and very lovely!

Brilliant place, the staff are very nice and it’s very clean, the room cleaning was always exceptional too ! We used taxi service as well as laundry service here and both were very competitively priced (the laundry also smelt incredible!) Great pool and never struggled for a lounger, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and will likely return

We did not realise any breakfast options were available. Our mistake. For us the quieter location was great. As we had been in the area before it was easy to explore. The resort was a great place to rest after a day of exploration. The staff were helpful and resonded to any issues quickly and efficiently. As we are birdwatches it proved very interesting and any eco turism needs some consideration.

Staff is proactive and any problem gets resolved. Room is clean and we got upgraded because the first room's A/C did not work. The accommodation is located just away from the main streets, hence peaceful and quiet. Easy walking distances to beach and restaurants etc. Even though breakfast is not provided, they do provide complimentary tea/ coffee, croissants and fruits

It was very nice to stay at this hotel. The staff did so much work to make us feel at home. We arrived very late because of a delayed flight and they stayed up and made sure we could get into our rooms. We got fresh water every day, they call taxi’s, there’s a laundry service, there’s a very relaxed vibe and it’s nearby the market and other shops and restaurants (approx 1 km). In low season it’s by the way best to stay a bit more inland because at the beach it’s very windy and wild. This was perfect and it is 5 min walk to the beach but no wind in rain season.
